Fresh is Best
Preserving a Flower At Its Prime
When it comes to pressing flowers, fresh is always best. If the goal is to preserve a flower, why not when it's in it's best condition?
In an perfect world, no flower would ever wilt or die. Unfortunately, that's not the case. Thankfully, we have flower presses to help us pause time! While the Microfleur can do wonders when pressing all kinds of flowers, it favors fresh flowers the best.
Flowers are going to be at their healthiest and most vibrant straight from the source. Ideally, you'll want to pick a flower right after it's fully bloomed and put it straight into the press. Now, that doesn't mean you can't buy store-bought flowers or bouquets from the florist and press those. Many artists use the Microfleur to run their flower preservation businesses, providing people with the option to preserve their special memories for years to come!
There are plenty of tips and tricks on how to best press different flowers, but the best tip of all is to press them when they've just bloomed. Remember, the better the flower going into the press, the better the flower coming out!
Happy Picking and Pressing!
